- ·Executive summary, one page, written for the person signing off
- ·Current-state architecture: what you have and how data actually flows
- ·Risk register: what will break, what it depends on, what it costs when it does
- ·Performance and capacity findings
- ·Where reporting and source numbers disagree, and why
- ·Recommended target architecture, and whether that's Fabric or something simpler
- ·Prioritised 90-day plan
- ·Indicative build scope and cost
The report is written to be useful whoever does the work. If you take it to another supplier, it still stands.
